We are planning on having burgers this evening at the club so plan on coming out. If the weather permits some people, or everyone, to get to the line to shoot, great, if rain prevents you from shooting we'll transfer today's scheduled targets forward to one of the 2 remaining weeks.

The Southeast Community College Bobcat Shooting Team would like to invite your high school shooters to our High School Bobcat Invite. This shoot is designed to give shooters looking to go to college some experience shooting some of the disciplines they would be shooting in college competitions. We will also have our coaches and athletes available to speak with athletes and parents about possible scholarships and to gain information about the team or college shooting in general.

Upcoming hunters safety class in Wilber starting later this month. Hunter's safety is required to be able to participate in the spring ECTC season with the team. I'll try to keep posting links to additional local classes.

September is Hometown Challenge month at MidwayUSA Foundation. A nationwide opportunity for supporters to rally behind their local youth shooting teams and help build a stronger financial future for the programs they care about.

Every Team Endowment Account that receives at least one match-eligible donation during September qualifies for the Hometown Challenge team incentive. The top five participating teams receiving the most donation dollars will earn additional endowment awards.

Come join us next Monday and the 3 Mondays after Labor Day in September. No commitment to shooting every week, just an excuse to come shoot and eat. Water provided with the meal or BYOB for after you shoot.

This evening is the 3rd week of doubles league. If you're a sub junior ( junior high), junior (high school), or female, because there is no classing, you're still eligible to come and participate in the league but you'd need to get all 4 weeks in between this week and next. If you're an adult male and want to shoot, come on out and try your hand at some doubles or get some practice in outside of an ATA meet. Trap 3 will be open for anyone wanting to shoot singles trap or handicaps.

Fall league dates are set. 4 Mondays beginning August 31st, skipping the 7th, then the following 3 Mondays (14th, 21st, and 28th) of September. The fall league is shooters choice, $20/evening for 50 targets (singles, doubles, or handicap) and a meal. No awards and no commitment to shooting all evenings, just a good time. Additional targets are available at $15/50.

We should be ready to shoot both doubles and singles by 6 today. The AC is on in the cabin for before and after you shoot. Come on out, last evening to sign up for doubles league.
