Hank the Tank
2023 AQHA Gold Ch*****ne Gelding | 15.2h

Hank the Tank is a tall, useful gelding with a sweet personality and a unique color that gets him noticed. He’s a pretty enough mover for the arena, with a solid foundation and enough forward to get a job done. I could easily see him turning steers or packing ranch kids around in the future.

He’s a champ out on the trails, willing to tackle what’s asked without getting too worked up about new situations. He’s sound, has solid ground manners, and is simply nice to be around.

A kind young gelding with plenty of potential, whether his future takes him to the arena, the ranch, or down the trail.

I am not ok with the change in weather, but at least the lighting gets neat.

When you are waiting for the bison to get weaned, ands the cows are too slow. You use what you can.

I don't usually have weanlings around but he is such a little treat. 💜Denim

Are you doing all the work with your horse, or do they have responsibilities, too?
Forward is everything. Maintaining the gait you ask for is their part of the partnership. You shouldn’t have to keep asking with every stride.
That responsibility starts on ride one and carries through to your most broke horses.
Feeling stuck and unsure what to work on? Be brave! Put your hand down and try this exercise. Give your horse the opportunity to carry their share of the responsibility.
They’ll show you what they understand—and where the holes are.
