After having a few days to reflect on our 2026 Nationals trip, we wanted to share a brief recap.
There were hundreds of photos and dozens of unforgettable moments—it was so hard to choose just a few to share!
Our team performed incredibly well all week and came home with some amazing trophies, titles, and awards. But we think our biggest takeaway from Nationals goes much deeper than that.
Yes, we take great pride in making sure our students are well trained and well prepared to compete. We always want to step onto the stage ready to give our very best, but even more important than great performances are the qualities we hope to instill along the way: teamwork, focus, integrity, perseverance, kindness, and sportsmanship.
We saw every one of those qualities and more on display from our dancers last week, and that’s what stands out the most. The awards are exciting, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything our students accomplished. But trophies eventually collect dust. Strong character, a solid work ethic, and the ability to encourage and support others are the things that will stay with these dancers for the rest of their lives.
Dance is so much more than learning choreography or collecting medals. It’s about helping shape confident, resilient, hardworking young people that will go out and make a difference in the world.
THAT will always be our greatest achievement.

When we chose to attend That’s Entertainment nationals, we immediately got to work planning to participate in ALL THE THINGS! For the student battle, we gave our oldest dancers the opportunity to choreograph a routine, schedule practices, select costuming and send out communications. Our dancers took this opportunity seriously and they delivered. There are so many things to be proud of after watching this team this evening. Dance at IDT is about so much more than just dancing. We believe in teaching creativity, leadership, responsibility, integrity, inclusion and teamwork. Our dancers shined today as they won it all! Champions of the 2026 Rep Your Studio Battle!

The countdown is over!! Our team is headed up to Clyde, Ohio to perform on the national stage!
So many late nights, long rehearsals, sore muscles, victories, setbacks, friendships, and unforgettable memories have all led to this week.
Dancers, as you all take the stage, remember that your worth isn’t measured by scores or placements. It’s measured by your dedication, your growth, your teamwork, and the heart you bring to every performance.
We’re cheering for you every step of the way. We know you'll make us proud! Good luck at Nationals! 🏆💛🖤

✨ It’s officially Nationals Week! ✨
This Wednesday, our team will pack up and head to Northern Ohio to take the national stage once again!
As we prepare for another incredible week, we can’t help but look back on our last Nationals experience in 2024—where we brought home trophies so large they had to be taken apart just to fit in our cars! 😆🏆
We're beyond excited to see our team perform this season's routines one final time and make more unforgettable memories together.
