The summer went by way too fast, and while we’re definitely a little sad to see our Corn Dogs players head off to their respective colleges, we wanted to give everyone—players, parents, and families—a little time to get settled into this next chapter.

The bags are unpacked, the dorm rooms are (hopefully 😆) organized, classes are underway, and our guys are back to doing what they do best: working toward becoming the best versions of themselves.

We know it can be a little bittersweet watching them leave after spending the summer together. But then we think back to those same players as little kids—standing on a tee-ball field, oversized glove on their hand, chasing the ball around and dreaming about what they might become someday.

They’re still those same kids.

They’re just a little older now, with bigger dreams, bigger challenges, and bigger goals.

To all of our Lake County Corn Dogs players:

📚 Good luck in the classroom!
⚾ Good luck on the baseball field!
💪 Keep working. Keep growing. Keep learning.
❤️ Most importantly, stay healthy and enjoy every minute of this journey.

🌽❤️ Northwest Indiana, We’re In This Together.

The recent storm has left many of our neighbors facing unexpected damage, expenses and challenges. For families, individuals and businesses across our community, recovery doesn’t happen overnight.

As the Lake County Corn Dogs, we know that baseball is about more than what happens between the lines. It’s about community, neighbors helping neighbors, and being there when people need each other most.

That’s why we’re proud to share a message from one of our community partners, Purdue Federal Credit Union, who is working to make sure members and SEG partners have access to resources that may help as they recover from the storm.

We may not be able to fix everything, but we can remind our community that no one has to face the challenges alone.
