Travel Camp Day 6!

Back to some good miles on (mostly) smooth flow! Jumps, berms, grade reversals were the move for the day, and man was it a good one! Rain cut our afternoon session a bit short, but we left with tired legs and ear to ear smiles!

Travel Camp Day 5!

Big mountain classic Douthat State Park! The trails are old school, the climbs are long, the switchbacks are tight, and the rocks are plentiful, but we love every pedal stroke! The views and descents make it worth it, and the breeze was nice and cool on top of the east ridge!

Travel Camp Day 4!

Riding some of the best trails in the Southeast at Massanutten Resort Western Slope kept dialed by Shen Valley Bicycle Coalition and ever expanding! Technical is an understatement, especially when the rocks are “sweaty” like today, but the loops are rewarding and every camper can be proud of their accomplishment.

Bryce Bike Park in the rain! Perfect day to work on skills and get used to controlling our bikes with that slippy-slidey feeling beneath our tires. Visits to Bryce Bike Park are always a highlight of the week!

Travel Camp Day 2!

Our final overnight bike camp of 2026 is underway! Travel Camp is 7 days of big-mountain, often backcountry riding showcasing many of the best trails in Virginia. Day 2 was based out of Stokesville Campground and we wasted no time exploring the mountains!

July means more overnight MTB camps in Virginia! First up is Enduro Camp featuring 7 days of gravity-focused fun and skills building.

We’ll do our best to stay on top of daily updates, and day 2 at Stokesville Campground was a great one!

Race Camp Day 5! Final day to get those final lines dialed and set into muscle memory at Explore Park!

After a final morning of XCO laps, it was back to Roanoke College to pack up and check out, but not before a final “awards ceremony” where we acknowledged some standout performances and memorable moments from the week.

Big shoutout to Cardinal Bicycle Roanoke for not only keeping camper bikes dialed all week, but also making sure campers flying with their bikes had them packed and ready to go!

Thank you campers, coaches, and all support groups. Already looking forward to next summer!
