“Our nation saw evil”. The images from that day are burned into my memory. No one spoke as, not one ninth or tenth grader, as we turned on the tv just in time to se the second plane hit. I will how we fell that day. I will also never forget our national sense of resolve that the people responsible for these attacks would pay. I still have many questions and not everything we did as a nation was right in the aftermath, but it was the last time I felt unity as a nation. I want to feel the unity again.
