Meet our volunteer of the week, Juan Arreola. Juan currently serves as the VP for our Rookie and A Division.

Juan Arreola has been with Crystal Lake Little as a Coach and VP since 2021. Juan has been a dedicated fixture in the Crystal Lake Little League community, serving as the Vice President for the Rookie and A Divisions. With a professional approach to league growth, Juan focuses heavily on the 'human infrastructure' of the game—specifically recruiting new coaching talent and establishing a sustainable pipeline of mentors for our youngest players. By overseeing the foundational divisions, Juan ensures that the first experience a child (and parents) has with baseball is organized, educational, and high-energy.

Meet our volunteer of the week, Jeremy Bone. Jeremy is currently the Director of Fields.

Jeremy lives in Oakwood Hills with his wife and two boys. He grew up in the McHenry area, where he spent much of his time playing recreational softball, basketball, street hockey and volleyball. Jeremy joined the CLLLB board this past year as the Field Director, although his involvement with the league began in 2020 when his boys started playing in the Rookies and Single A divisions. He strongly believes in the importance of volunteering and stepping up whenever possible, and he’s always looking for others who are willing to lend a hand.

Outside of CLLLB, Jeremy works in the automotive industry, where he manages large teams of employees. He enjoys traveling with his family, fishing, and is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. Jeremy believes that playing team sports helps build character, instills commitment, and prepares kids for the challenges they will face in life. He also recognizes that the CLLLB organization excels at teaching the fundamentals of baseball while helping players develop a genuine love for the game.
