EXPLORE MOVEMENT, SKILLS, PERFORMANCE, AND EXPRESSION in Master classes with Ice Dance International's Douglas Webster, Alina Ponomarova, and Kseniya Ponomaryova followed by exhibition from IDI Junior and special guests. There are 10 spots available to register for the exhibition. All are welcome

🎉 We have a shoutout to share from the 2026 Excel National Festival, hosted at the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, MA. Arina took the trip East and came home with hardware! ⛸

💙💛 Her favorite parts of the 2026 Excel Festival were attending the camp with Polina Edmunds and meeting some of the other Olympians. And of course getting to compete on the big performance ice rink! 💛💙

👆 As we share our Open Competitor experiences you might be wondering what it takes to get to the Excel National Festival Open Competition. Skaters signed up for the Excel Series in an open level (ASPIRE 1-4, Excel Pre-Preliminary) and then competed in two approved Excel Series competitions to receive an invitation to the Festival. Series information typically is announced in November-December, with competitions running January-June. If your skater is considering competing in these levels in the coming year, the Excel Festival could be a great skating goal in 2027.

🌇 As the sun set on another fantastic skating year, TLC Photography and Portraits captured the joy and camaraderie derived from hard work and a shared passion for this sport⛸. From skating alongside each other each day, testing, competing, and working not one, but TWO big competitions (WWFSC Excel and GCFI), you have so many accomplishments to be proud of. We've got some fun photos to share from our 💐 Annual Awards Banquet that took place at the end of June. Since we know our skaters are a work of art 🎨, they created their own mini masterpieces before the buffet was served and awards got underway at Moretti's Elgin. We recognized board members completing terms, graduating seniors, NQS pin recipients, National Competitors (Championship, Excel, and Adult), Gold Medalists, 2025-26 passed tests, our amazing event volunteer families, and more! 🏆
