After months of hard work, dedication, and growth, Progressions is finally here!

The Raue stage will be filled with dancers of every age and level, from our tiniest Baby Ballet dancers taking their first dance steps, to our adult dancers continuing their passion for movement. You’ll see the energy of our Open Division, the excellence of our pre-professional company, Engage Dance Theatre, and the achievements of our Études & Comp Crew competition teams.

Progressions is more than a performance. It’s a celebration of a year’s worth of learning, friendships, confidence, perseverance, and memories. We are so proud of every dancer who will take the stage and can’t wait to share their journey with you.

Play Date at the Dole is an awesome way to start district 47’s summer! We are always so privileged to have our Competition Crew dancers perform at this annual event! Thank you for inviting us and all the sponsors who support this wonderful event!

At Engage we love helping the Backe family collect pop top lids for Ronald McDonald House Charity! Congratulations on such a HUGE contribution Backe family, it’s wonderful individuals like you who are driving the front line of donations that matter to so many families. We will continue to have a donation jug on our front counter for our families to drop off all their lids.

Our last day of partnering for our EDT dancers L5-Company with the gentlemen from Milwaukee Ballet was yesterday. Our parents joined us for classes, enjoying the process of our unique partnering class. Thank you Mr Marc for guiding this class and MKE gentlemen for being so kind, thoughtful and exceptional mentors in these classes. We look forward to our partnering Thursdays during our summer program!

Introducing our inaugural cast of EDT Dads Dance dancers performing in the Saturday evening show of Progressions this year💪🏼 They came, they learned, they practiced! Then they were joined by their dancers, and again…they came, they learned, they practiced, and experienced many moments both happy and silly! Congratulations Dads, you are all EDT dancers now. Keep on practicing your kick ball changes and we will see you at dress rehearsal ❤️

Progressions costumes are getting sorted and ready to hand out! Keep an eye on the Engage App as we will send a message when your classes costumes are ready to be picked up. Don’t forget to sign up for recital pictures with Ron McKinney!
