Crystal River Little League

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – STATE TOURNAMENT FIELD CREW ⚾🥎

As the All-Stars State Tournaments get underway at Crystal River Little League, July 9th - 12th, we're looking for volunteers to help with the field crew throughout the tournament.

Field crew responsibilities include:
🔹 Relining the infield
🔹 Resetting the field between games
🔹 Dragging and raking the infield

Saturday is expected to be the busiest day, so any help that day would be especially appreciated!

Please note that schedules are weather permitting and may change as needed. The projected tournament schedules are attached for reference.

Making more progress! 1/4 of a field left to do yellow toppers on!!!, bathrooms and outsides of concessions all repainted. Bathroom floors to be finished later this week with a new apoxy coating and flake. Fields getting laser graded later this week by our awesome Citrus County Parks and Recreation team. We turned the lighting on last night and all fields have been updated and much brighter and cleaner looking, very nice surprise and looks great.

Fun facts about our Sectional Umpires. The one in the back is 6 ft 11" and used to be a Goalie for soccer. The plate Ump was umpiring the Seminoles Softball game just a few weeks ago and will be in the Junior World Series this year for Little League. The one next to him in the middle is going to be at the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, NC this year.

Fields all received new Clay, field 1 cut out the base lines, working on leveling and filling the grass to smooth out all fields & rebuilding all mounds thanks to the help of Matt Daggy & Mac Boleware for delivering and securing the clay. Huge shout out to Citrus quarries & Site One for the donations of the Clay and Clay Bricks!!! (Will post pics in near future of finished product). Thanks to Citrus County Parks & Rec. for Mixing and leveling it out and building those mounds...still in progress. Our Bathrooms are getting updated floors thanks to Ryan Gardner & Gardner construction. We have painters repainting the restrooms and concessions area. Some new wooden posts in the parking lot. See pictures of our Board members putting up our new fence toppers last night! It's starting to come together. This wouldn't be possible without our Citrus County Parks and Recreation teams for organizing these projects and putting in the long hours!

Minor Sectionals has concluded. These girls should be proud of what they've accomplished as no one will ever take their District Championship away from them. Til next year!
