A massive congratulations to Chase Alford and his team for winning the AA 12u bracket. Chase absolutely dominated on the baseball diamond. He pitched an incredible championship game, giving up only 3 runs, and crushed it at the plate by hitting .750.

We love seeing our Sun Coast Swim Team athletes shine in every sport they play.

The Sun Coast Swim Team absolutely crushed it at the RipTide swim meet, and the results are officially in. Competing against a tough field of over 12 teams, SCST dominated the competition and took 1st Place overall! 🏆🥇

The action wasn't just exciting in the water. The SCST family enjoyed some amazing moments together on the deck, celebrating with three of our swim dads and wishing Molly a very happy 21st birthday! 🎈

We are incredibly proud of every single swimmer who stepped up on the blocks this weekend. Your hard work, team spirit, and dedication clearly paid off. Thank you to all the coaches, parents, and fans who made this trip to Lakeland a massive success.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Who We Play For and Phil Royal Legacy will be providing affordable ECG heart screenings for children and young adults ages 10-25 years old.

💙 No child will be turned away. If your family cannot afford the $20 screening fee, Phil Royal Legacy will provide funding for your child’s ECG.

An ECG is a simple, painless test that can detect potentially life-threatening heart conditions before tragedy strikes. Many young athletes show no symptoms before a cardiac event.
Beginning July 1, 2026, ECG screenings will fulfill Florida’s new requirements for student-athletes under the Second Chance Act. This is an opportunity to protect our children and give families peace of mind.

Bicentennial Park Pool is proud to be host location for this year's 💦World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL)💦, being held on Thursday, June 25, 2026! WLSL is a global drowning prevention event launched by the World Waterpark Association in 2010 and continues to grow in different communities each year! WLSL serves as a platform to help communities build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim. Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the number one cause of death for U.S. children ages 1-4, and second leading cause for ages 5-14. Pre-register you or your child for this FREE event! Each participant will be guided through safety lessons, as well as the introduction of basic water competency.

Thousands of seemingly healthy kids die every year due to detectable heart conditions.

● A 5-minute, non-invasive ECG catches these conditions 80%-96% of the time.

While we know them for their hard work in the lanes with Sun Coast Swim Team and their standout seasons swimming for CRHS, tonight was all about their dedication to excellence in the classroom.
