Cuchara Valley Recreation Program: Hikes, Bingo, Fun Runs and more! Over the years it has developed to encompass everyone, the young and the old.

The Cuchara Valley Recreation Program was created to get the kids out of their house socializing, hiking and learning about nature, and most importantly having fun. We offer hikes, weekly bingo, and an annual fun run. In the past five years we have also added educational opportunities with our Chautauqua program.

The outside of the community center is finished!! Ain’t it beautiful! Believe it or not, there are more improvements coming on the inside of this beautiful and venerable old building. When it is completed I’ll send photos. Thank you for all the fabulous folks who have donated to this cause. The Cuchara Valley Recreation program is donating $4000 to the improvements coming to the inside. If you’ve participated in the 4th of July Family Fun Run, Bingo! or bought a painting at the Cuchara Art Show, your support has made this donation possible. ❤️❤️❤️
