The sounds of battle have faded from the fields of Mountain Run Winery. Gear has been packed, campsites have been broken down, injuries have been stitched up, and fighters have endured yet another swelteringly hot and humid Grapes of Wrath.
Often, the hardest part of running an event is remembering every single person deserving of praise once all is said and done. Events like this are impossible to run without fighters, staff, and most importantly, spectators. Let us give a blanket thanks to the dozens of people without whom we would not have had an event at all!
The New York City Armored Combat Team, Exiles Armored Combat, The New Jersey Leeds Devils - Armored Combat Worldwide, Tidewater Dogs of War, Incursors, Hellions, Hellcats, Timberwolf Cohort, and probably more...you guys all rock and we can't thank you enough for coming all this way. Extra congratulations to the Sentinels for their performance in Sunday's official Conquest matchup against the Lions; we eagerly await a rematch once our fighters are healed up!
To all of the support staff, volunteers, Knight Marshal Roger C Young, the medics: it is only with your unfailing dedication to your work that an event this large can go so well. Thank you for all that you did this weekend in the roles that often go overlooked. We look forward to continuing to work with you as this sport and this club grow.
To our vendors that braved the weather to come support our event, and our man Sean Morton that brought them together: thank you for your hard work and your kindness. We'll make sure to keep you posted on the next event we're bringing you out to!
To David Foster and Mountain Run Winery itself, we cannot thank you enough for letting us take over your field like this year after year. We hope that our next event is even larger and we'll be talking to you soon!

And lastly, thank you, spectators, for your undying support. The weather promised to storm all weekend, the humidity was brutal, and yet, you all came anyway. We cannot keep up this kind of event without people like yourselves, both newcomers and returning viewers. We hope you all had an amazing time and we'll be seeing everyone soon!
