Finished as the #3 seed and we’re back at it tomorrow at 8 AM to take on the #2 seed.

🇺🇸 Never Forget 🇺🇸

25 years ago, thousands of people went to sleep expecting September 11, 2001, to be an ordinary Tuesday.

Passengers packed for morning flights.

Parents prepared for work.

Firefighters went to bed knowing another shift waited in the morning.

Police officers and paramedics prepared to report for duty.

Families said goodnight with every expectation that they would see one another again.

None of them knew how profoundly the world would change before the morning was over.

And maybe that is one of the many things September 11 continues to remind us:

𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐢𝐧. 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.

Let go of the petty things.

Chase the dream.

Never miss the goodnight kiss.

Say the “I love you.”

Tell your first responder before shift. During shift. After shift.

Make the phone call.

Hold your people a little longer.

Because every breath matters.

Every conversation matters.

Every ordinary goodbye matters.

Twenty-five years later, may we still remember.
