The Rec Club will be OPEN ALL DAY on Labor Day from 11 AM–8 PM — so grab your swimsuits, pack the cooler, and come spend one more summer day poolside with us! 🏊‍♀️🍹☀️

Labor Day marks our final day of the 2026 pool season, and we can’t think of a better way to wrap up another summer at CRC than with the people who make this place so special — our members, families, friends, and neighbors. ❤️

It’s been a summer full of swimming, sunshine, music, movies, cannonballs, friendships, and a whole lot of memories.

So come soak up those last few hours of summer with us!

Come on out to the Rec Club this Sunday from 1–4 PM for the final installment of our Summer SunDAZE Music Series! 🎶🏊‍♀️

Smiling Politely will be back poolside, playing all your favorite ’90s & 2000s alternative rock while you swim, float, hang out and soak up one of our last Sundays of summer. 🤘☀️

🚨 LIFEGUARDS NEEDED — IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY FOR WEEKEND HOURS! 🏊‍♀️☀️

We’re looking for 2–3 Red Cross-certified lifeguards who are available to pick up a few hours on Saturday and/or Sunday during our final two weekends of the season.

If you or someone you know currently working at another pool and looking to pick up some extra hours before the summer season wraps up, we’d love to hear from you!

We have an immediate need for weekend coverage so that our members can continue enjoying the pool through the end of the season. ❤️

🌧️ POOL CLOSED TODAY — SATURDAY

Unfortunately, with rainstorms expected to move through the area intermittently today, cooler temperatures, and limited staff availability, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the pool for the day.

We know summer weekends are precious, and we don’t make the decision to close lightly. We’re hopeful for better weather and look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool soon! ☀️🏊‍♀️

📚☀️ Back-to-School Hours Update ☀️📚

Well friends… it’s that time of year again when we have to make the dreaded back-to-school hours announcement. 😭

As our Culpeper County students, teachers, and school staff head back for a new school year, it’s time for us to transition to our back-to-school schedule.

Moving forward, our hours will be:

🏊 Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
☀️ Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
☀️ Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Summer isn’t over yet! ☀️💦 There’s still plenty of pool season left, and we can’t wait to soak up these last few weeks with all of you. See you at the Rec Club! ❤️🖤

📚✏️ Happy First Day of School! 🍎

Wishing all of our Culpeper County Public Schools students, teachers, staff, bus drivers, and families an amazing first day back! We hope everyone has a fantastic school year filled with new friendships, great memories, and lots of success.

Unfortunately, with the early start of school also comes the announcement none of us ever enjoy making… back-to-school hours. 😭

The Board is currently waiting on the finalized staffing and operating schedule from our Guard Manager. As soon as we receive it, we’ll share our August hours with everyone right away.

We know many of you are eager to plan your visits, and we truly appreciate your patience.

Please know that your volunteer Board is working extremely hard behind the scenes to keep the pool open as much as possible while balancing staffing, safety, and fiscal responsibility. We’re members too, and we want every minute of pool time we can get just as much as you do!! ❤️🖤

Thank you for sticking with us, and once again… best of luck to all of our students, teachers, and school staff as a new school year begins! 🎒

🌧️ POOL CLOSED TODAY 🌧️

Well... Mother Nature has officially vetoed today's pool plans. 😅

With rain, thunderstorms, and the potential for lightning throughout the day, we'll be closed today for the safety of our members and staff.

We know... trust us, we'd much rather be in the pool than staring at weather radar. But we'd also rather not audition our lifeguards for "Fastest Lightning Sprint."

Thanks for understanding, and here's hoping the weather gets its act together soon! ❤️
