Here are some game photos from today's match up with the major Dodgers and Orioles.
Will there be a season this year? Or at least a modified one?

Thank you to the Culver City Little League and AYSO Region 19 for their generous support of our emergency food drive. Thanks to the donations from the families of our local Little League and AYSO teams we were able to create more than 50 bags (and counting!) of nonperishable food to donate to local families in need. Culver City has really come together during this time to serve our neighbors and we are grateful to organizations like the AYSO and Little League for their help! You can find out more about the Little League here: culvercitylittleleague.org and AYSO here: ayso19.com
Should we assume games are canceled today???
Casting Call - SOUTHERN CA - Little League Teams and theirs families for a paid nonunion TV commercial. Email [email protected] to set up an interview or skype as early as tomorrow! Please share! thanks ~
Are there any updates on the rookie girls’ softball teams? I haven’t heard anything and I’m having trouble getting a response. Anyone have an email for who I should contact? The season is starting soon and we have no information or schedule. We have to juggle two schedules this year so it’d be nice to have that info. Thanks.
Any word on field conditions today?
My son was at the 8 year old tryouts today, Sunday, 1/28, at 2:30 pm. We think someone took his orange Easton S150 29" (-10) bat, unlabeled, and his blue batting helmet (labeled with name, Andrew) accidentally. In turn, we have someone else's 28" bat and black batting helmet. PM me if you have info!

Let's catch up!

Saturday, May 20 will be our makeup Picture Day for those individual players who missed our initial photo session in March. A photographer from NSPN will be working from 9 AM until approximately 9:30 AM just outside the fenceline on Field 1, and because this is a narrow window of time, we'd encourage you to arrive at 8:45 AM so that you're ready to go as soon as they are set up.

We also ask that you SAVE THE DATE for our annual Year-End Picnic on Saturday, June 10!

Plans for the picnic are still being finalized, but just like last year, you can expect home run derbies for adults/coaches, and players! We'll follow up soon with additional details and timing and available activities.

As some of you may have heard by now, this coming Monday's (5/8/2023) City Council meeting will involve a discussion regarding feasibility studies on the future of Culver City Parks -- including Veteran's Park and our very own Bill Botts fields in particular.

Needless to say, this meeting is of vital importance to Culver City Little League. For that reason, we need to make sure that City Council hears our voice -- both in support of the proposed studies (which are needed to bring our park facilities up to the standard a community like ours should enjoy) AND as testimony to the necessary and special relationship we have with the fields we call home.

Of course, we would love to see you at Monday's (5/8/2023) City Council Meeting (virtually or in person) to express or simply show support for Culver City Little League. Barring that, however, please let Council know how you can -- via eCommentary as directed below or via direct email to the council's members -- about what our fields mean to you personally and to our league as a whole.

Further details on how to join are provided here: https://www.culvercity.org/City-Hall/Meetings-Agendas

The Culver City Little League snack bar is open! We are a volunteer organization and need your help keeping our snack bar open most weekends and weeknights.

Below is a link to sign up for snack bar shifts (high school age or kids with an adult) for all the remaining days and games in our spring schedule. And for those worried they don't know how to run a snack bar -- we've made it easy to work, and it's a great way to get to know other families within the league!

Culver City Little League picture day is Saturday, March 18. You should have received an e-mail with the time. If you aren't sure, check with your coach.

Please plan to arrive at least half an hour ahead of time to get organized! We will be offering food and merchandise for sale on-site, for those who would like to get some CCLL swag!

Unfortunately, opening day ceremonies are canceled for this weekend. We hope the city will open the fields to play upper-division games (Majors and Minors) this weekend. There will not be any game for Farm or below until next weekend, March 11 and 12.

Coaches will be getting information about uniform pick-up at Bill Botts this weekend.

The schedule will be released by tomorrow! As we may get more rain, there may be game reschedules. To access the latest schedule, visit https://www.culvercitylittleleague.org by pulling down the "Team Central" tab, navigating to "Master Game Calendar" or to "Posted Schedules".

Culver City Little League is looking for enthusiastic and responsible
kids and adults who would like to umpire during the upcoming season.

Whether you're a seasoned umpire or someone who loves baseball or
softball and wants to get involved, we welcome you to join us and help
make the games fun and fair for everyone. As an umpire, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain valuable experience, earn a little bit of money (or earn some volunteer hours), and be a part of the CCLL community that shares your passion for baseball and softball.

If you're interested, don't hesitate to get in touch with
[email protected] to let us know, and we'll provide
more details. We can't wait to see you out on the field!
