What an amazing 5–0 victory today! But the greatest victory was not on the scoreboard it was in how our boys learned, thought, and played the game.

Especially in the *second half*, they showed real maturity: keeping the ball on the ground, reading the game, connecting with one another, and making smarter decisions together. Beautiful soccer is not only about technique, it comes from players learning to understand what they see, why they decide, and how their decisions impact the team.

Our official CSL season begins this weekend, September 13*… this (Sunday).

As we begin, let’s remember: *It’s not only about what our players achieve, but who they are becoming through the game.*

After each match, instead of focusing only on the result, *ask*:

*What did you learn about yourself today?*

Let’s help them *develop awareness, confidence, character, and purpose on and off the field.*

All parents should *download the CSL app to access games and updates in real time*. If you need help, please see your *Team Manager or me before or after practice this week*. We’ll be happy to assist.

The game doesn’t begin when you receive the ball. 🧠⚽️

Learning to observe, communicate and stay connected to the game without the ball is part of developing game intelligence.

Parents, after practices and games, ask your Son:

1. What did you see? 👀
2. What did you do well?
3. What could you do better next time?

Then simply LISTEN. Don’t guide the answers. Let your Son think, reflect and express what they understood.

Please share their answers with the coach.
