You can see why after experiencing this style of Suidi in Okinawa , I found Wing Chun training to be an acceptable substitute here in the US🌸

Inattentive ADHD is so often misunderstood because the struggle is not always obvious from the outside.

A child may genuinely want to get started, remember what they have been asked to do, or finish a simple routine — and still find it incredibly difficult.

At home, the answer is not more reminders, more pressure or “you just need to try harder”.

Often, what helps most is reducing the load around working memory and task initiation: making things visible, breaking tasks down, keeping routines predictable and noticing the effort involved — not just the end result.

These small adjustments can make everyday life feel far more manageable for a child with inattentive ADHD.

Save this post if you want some practical ideas to come back to.
