Summer workouts were a great success as we had many student athletes attend to improve their abilities in the weight room and on the court! A huge thank you to Coach Chorp and Coach Rhodes who were very dedicated in helping our players improve and providing them with a high-level workout! It was easy to see the improvement from the beginning to end of summer!

Our Progressive Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center Summer Workout Warriors, who met the qualifications of attending 75% or more of workouts, are as follows:

Seniors: Rylen Ellsworth, Traeh Grassi (not pictured), Landon Holliday
Sophomores: Ashton Day, Travis Grassi, Dylan Hare, Davis Williams
Freshman: Eli Bradfield, Elias Browning, Demarcus Isner, Jordan Jones, Logan Kunis, Jaxson Liller (not pictured), Owen Pearce, Say Say Weedon

Our Summer Workout MVPs are Traeh Grassi (not pictured), Landon Holliday, Ashton Day, and Logan Kunis! These four attended every workout this summer! Congrats to them and all the other athletes!

A major thank you, again, to Progressive Physical Therapy for supporting our athletes and keeping them healthy! Please make sure to show your appreciation by supporting them in all your rehab and physical therapy needs!

Allegany Basketball would, again, express our appreciation to Progressive Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center for sponsoring Summer Workout Warrior shirts! Mr. Chris Whiteman has been very generous with his support of the Allegany Basketball program. Mr. Whiteman and his Progressive team recognize the importance of strengthening your physical capabilities and game to stay healthy and on the court. Mr. Whiteman and his staff believe that our athletes should be recognized for their hard work, which is why he so willingly sponsors these shirts. Please make sure you support Progressive with any physical therapy needs you may have and thank you to their team for going above and beyond for our Allegany athletes.

Pictured are Seniors Traeh Grassi and Landon Holliday with Progressive Physical Therapists Matt Ryan and Aaron Kline. Traeh and Landon attended every workout this summer and are holding this year’s shirt! The remainder of the athletes will be announced tomorrow who met the qualifications!

We can’t wait for our first day of our first Allegany Men’s Basketball Youth Camp tomorrow evening beginning at 6 PM! There has been a lot of time and effort into making these upcoming days enjoyable and memorable for our campers. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

‼️A few important announcements‼️

Campers and Parents:
Registration will begin at 5 PM outside the gym as you enter through the main entrance of Allegany High. Reminder that you must pay tomorrow, the first day of camp, by cash or check only. Please do your best to have the exact amount if paying cash because change will be limited. Make sure your camper brings water, but we will also have a concession selling water and Gatorade. There will also be hydration stations to refill your water bottles.

Allegany Basketball Players and Parents:
Returning Allegany players who were on JV or Varsity, and plan to play this upcoming season, are expected to work the camp as many nights as possible. The sign-up to work has been posted in the weight-room for 3 weeks now and that information has been relayed. All absences from working the camp need to be told to Coach Reed.

We would love to have Allegany Basketball parents volunteer to help take photos, work the concession, and/or help with registration, even if just one night. Please contact Coach Reed if you’d wish to help as it would be greatly appreciated.
