🦌 VIRGINIA 5-DAY RUT COMBO HUNT 🐻

After several requests, we've decided to put together a special five-day muzzleloader hunt during the Virginia rut, with a black bear opportunity. Anyone who knows Virginia or hunting in general knows that this is absolutely the best time to be in the woods. Prime Rutt action 💪💪

📅 Arrive November 6
🎯 Hunt November 7–11
🏡 Depart November 12

$3,750 per hunter, all-inclusive.

The package includes five days of guided hunting, meals, lodging, and a license/tag credit covering one buck, one doe, and one bear. Hunters purchase their own required licenses and tags directly through Virginia DWR, and those fees are credited toward the hunt balance.

We are limiting this to 5 spots only.

If you’re coming from out of state to chase Virginia whitetails or turkey, here’s the license breakdown in plain English:

First, download the Go Outdoors Virginia app.

1️⃣ Start with your Nonresident Hunting License •
3-Day: $60
Annual: $111

2️⃣ Add your Deer/Turkey License + Tags • $86

3️⃣ Hunting a special season? Add the extra privilege:
🏹 Archery: +$31
💨 Muzzleloader: +$31

Totals:

We’re considering putting together our first evert exclusive Women’s Bow Hunting Weekend here at Timber Lodge Outfitters in Cumberland, Virginia.

A few days of bowhunting, home cooked meals, stay at out beautiful timber framed lodge with sauna and jetted tub, campfires and a chance to hunt with a group of women who enjoy the outdoors.

Experienced bowhunters are welcome, but we’d also like this to be a hunt where newer hunters feel comfortable coming and learning.

Ladies, who would be interested in something like this? Shoot me a messages and we can get lock in your dates. We will consider thos for rifle season as well

Timber Lodge Outfitters didn’t start as an outfitter. It started as a vision for a place where my family could escape the busy life we live in Myrtle Beach.

I spent most of my life in Virginia chasing whitetails, but a golf dream eventually took me to Myrtle Beach, where we now own and operate several Airbnbs along the beach. Needless to say, that keeps us pretty busy.

Even after moving, I always came back to Virginia in the fall. Hunting here has always been a big part of my life. After building the lodge, I decided I wanted to share some of the hunting experiences I was fortunate enough to grow up with, not just with other hunters, but with other families too.

Timber Lodge became our place to slow things down, get back to Virginia, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time doing what I’ve always loved.

Looking back through some of these construction pictures is pretty wild.

Little by little, we turned this place into what it is today. A lodge where hunters come in from all over, eat good, tell stories around the fire, hunt hard, and hopefully leave with a few more stories than they showed up with.

We’re still building, still improving, and still adding to it every year.

Here’s a little look at how Timber Lodge started and how far it’s come.
