During Brain Awareness Month, exercise is highlighted as a key factor in brain health. However, combining exercise with other activities proves to be even more beneficial. Participating in a Memory Walk, where family members go for a walk, choose a theme like animals or colors, and name items in the chosen category at intervals, is an excellent way to achieve this. For added challenge, participants can follow alphabetical order.

Bio Ability is dedicated to delivering specialized summer camps for school-aged children with special needs. Our camps operate on a 3-hour schedule, with morning sessions from 9-12 and afternoon sessions from 1-4, each priced at $75. The camps comprise a mix of gymnastics, sports, arts, and crafts, in addition to free play and educational activities aimed at developing fine motor skills. A key aspect of our program is the integration of neuro-atypical campers with neuro-typical peers at Bio Gymnastics camp, promoting a cohesive and inclusive environment.

Each year on May 7th, National Barrier Awareness Day brings attention to the obstacles that prevent individuals with disabilities from fully engaging in society, with the goal of breaking down these physical, social, and attitudinal barriers. Bio Ability is committed to increasing access to adaptive gymnastics and fitness opportunities.
