North Georgia Trash Pandas

Hello Trash Panda nation,

This is Kyle, the head coach/organizer for this wonderful team and I wanted to send out a little update! We just finished our final season of 2024 and I couldn’t be more proud of this team! But the main reason I’m posting is the team will no longer be together starting 2025. I have decided to take a step back from coaching and just be a player, which has been a super tough decision. When I started this team in 2019 I never would have dreamed of the potential of what we accomplished. We won multiple, and I mean multiple seasons and tournaments and had some super rough seasons, but I wouldn’t change it for ANYTHING. I appreciate every single one of my players who stepped out on that field and represented the Trash Pandas!!!

Well the spring season II has come to a close. Trash pandas went into the tourney as the number 5 seed needing to play some good ball to have a shot at the championship. Game 1 was a good game all around with some great hits and defensive plays and we won 10-6. The semifinal game was against the number one seed and it was a defensive battle going into the 5th inning. The other team put up a great inning and we were down 2-10 needing to play perfect the rest of the way. We weren’t able to pull it out and lost 7-16. We look forward to the summer season!

The spring session II has come to an end and the Trash Pandas finished with a record of 4-6. We look to turn it around at the end of season tourney next week!

Well the tournament for the trash pandas concluded with one game. It was a tough one against our friends The Central Braves and we went into the final inning down by 6 and needing some magic. Our bats come alive in the 7th but it was too little too late and lost 10-13. I will say I am proud of the team we had put together (for a bunch of pick ups 😂) but we turn our sights to the next spring season!

Well the first spring season of 2024 is in the books and we could have had better outcomes. We ended the season at 2-8 (probably our worst season since becoming a team) but we will come back next week for the end of season tourney!

The Trash Pandas started the last week of the season 8-0 and we were in the drivers seat for the number one seed. One win and we secure it. First game was a tough one (as always) against our friends Glory Days. They had some clutch hits to take the game in the bottom of the 7th.

Game two was a must win to secure the number 1 seed. It was a tough one with great defense and some clutch hits. We went into the bottom of the 7th down 6-5. Some clutch hits and base running and we walked it off!

We turn our sights to win the tourney next week and go into our final season of the year!

Trash pandas had their summer season tournament tonight. We started out as the 7 seed with a record of 3-6 and would have a LONG way to go (would have to play 3 games) to get to the championship. Game 1 was won 17-5 and game 2 was a tough one. We game up short and lost 6-11. We turn our sights onto the fall season starting next week!

The spring season session 2 finished last night and we ended in 2nd place with a record of 7-3! It was great season and the team played really well minus 2 games! The tournament to conclude the season is next week!

Season spring session 1 has concluded and Trash Pandas finished strong at 9-1! Season champs! We play the season ending tourney next week!
