Lake Guntersville 2024

Congrats to three members of Six Mile Bass Club at the BASS State Championship at Lake Hartwell.

Robb Cody 2nd place co-angler will be fishing the BASS Nation National Championship at Grand Lake In 2024.

Craig Monnin finished 10th (boater) and Jesse Hultberg (NB) finished 12th to get automatic entry into the BASS Nation SE Qualifier at Lake Eufaula.

Member Eric Cerny unfortunately had a 9 minute/9lb late penalty day one which would have placed him as 6th place overall boater.

Lake Lanier(10/14) Results:

Well, the good news is that everyone caught fish Saturday. The bad news is that everyone had to work very hard for those fish. There was a decent morning bite, but the high winds/front seemed to shut things down for most. There were lots of lookers, but not many takers!

Congratulations to Eric Cerny for the win with a bag of spots and also big fish (3.97 spot). Eric caught most of his fish on a drop shot, but also mixed in a fluke and swim bait. Eric fished mostly shallow pockets in the back of creeks, but did hit a few deep brush piles throughout the day. In Second was Robb Cody who fished a fluke most of the day. In Third was Charles who caught 50 fish but couldn’t get on the right size. Charles used a “secret” Japanese topwater bait and of course a bruised banana trick worm (joking).

Our next tournament is on Lake Hartwell, November 11th and 12th. This will be two separate one day tournaments.

Lake Allatoona Results:

Lots of fish were caught, however finding sizeable fish was difficult.

We had a handful of guests join us (Travis Fisher, Hank Siegelson, Clay Stiles, and Ryan Bradford)

Congrats to Eric Cerny for the win with a 15.05 bag including big fish (a 6.06 Lip). Eric caught his fish on a Drop shot, C rig, jig, and blade bait on the north end of the lake. In second was Charles Ellington with a 10.21 bag of spots caught mid lake on an underspin and unarmed Japanese topwater. Guest Ryan Brandford was third with 7.61 bag of spots caught on a jerk bait.

Honorable mention goes out to Jesse Hultberg who brought a beautiful 5.8 lbs Lip to the scales.

Next tournament is scheduled for Saturday October 14th
