The bridge is back! 🚲💗

Velorosa was proud to join Friday’s celebration of the Raccoon River Valley Trail bridge reopening. We’re honored to be part of the community of supporters who donated to help repair the bridge and to have Velorosa recognized with a plaque.

A special thank you to Velorosa team member Cora Ritter for organizing our team’s contribution and giving our members the opportunity to be part of this important community effort.

After the ceremony, we kept the celebration going with a ride to our team sponsor, The Brickyard in Adel, for dinner and drinks. It felt so good to finally be able to bike there again for the first time in more than a year!

Here’s to restored connections, strong communities, and many more miles together. 💗🚲

Tonight's Pint Night Ride supports shredHer Des Moines Mountain Bike Association —an organization helping more women discover the joy, confidence, and community that comes with riding bikes.

From first-timers to seasoned shredders, they're creating opportunities for more folks to get out and ride.

Join cyclists from across Central Iowa as we ride silently to honor those who have been injured or killed while riding on public roads and to remind everyone that cyclists have the right to ride safely.
