Show Me the Money

Money came to WildeWood Farm in 2022, although his story began long before that.

His registered name is Sonny De Bar, and he had spent all of his 19 years with the same family. His breeder and owner raised him and watched him grow from a young horse into her daughter's show horse. I had known his owner for many years, as we showed in the same horse show circuits, so when she began making plans to sell her farm in Alpharetta and move to Texas for her job, she called to ask if I might be interested in leasing Sonny and two other horses.

I said yes.
There was just one small problem. We already had a Sonny. And this Sonny knew his name!

He would come when he was called, so changing his name completely didn't seem very fair. We needed something that sounded enough like Sonny for him to recognize it.
So, Sonny became Money. Or, as we like to say... Show Me the Money!

Money is a beautiful big Paint gelding with a personality as colorful as his coat. He is friendly, happy, curious, and just a little bit nosy. If something is happening, Money wants to in on it!

He is also an incredibly talented hunter. But Money is an honest horse to a fault. He knows his job, and he does it well—but he doesn't cover up a rider's mistakes. If you make an error, Money will let you know. And that is part of what makes him such a wonderful teacher. He teaches his riders that horses aren't machines. Good riding matters.

Perhaps one of the sweetest things about Money is that his entire life has been blessed with people who loved him and took good care of him. From the family who raised him and showed him to his life here at WildeWood Farm, he has always been cherished.
And we are so grateful that our paths crossed.

We love our big, beautiful, talented, honest, curious, nosy Paint gelding.
Show us the Money!

700 Stories

Today is a very special day. It is the 700th story that I have written and posted on social media. The first 365 stories are wrapped up in my first book in ‘From His Heart to Mine, a Story a Day to Bless Your Life’ that was released on Amazon April 2026.

God leaned on my heart summer of 2024 asking that I write stories that showed how He loved us, how deeply He is interested in our everyday moments, and to show His provision and protection at every corner.

I was slow to be obedient and didn't write for a couple of months. Remember, that I was the little girl who had a really hard time learning how to read and write. So, to write a story every day (for how long, Lord?) was quite a mental challenge.

I wondered what I would write about. I pondered the messages. I wondered if anyone would care about farm life.

And then the stories started downloading. Sometimes several in one day. Occasionally, none at all. But there was always one for each day.

In thirty more days, I will have completed year two and the end of volume two.

I’m not sure if there will be a volume three. I am waiting on the Holy Spirit to see if stories keep downloading.

I hope you enjoyed them as much as I have enjoyed writing. Comments, questions, or story requests are always welcomed. Feel free to share any that touch your heart. If you’d like to purchase as copy of Vol.1, the Amazon link is down below. Enjoy.

Thank you for being a part of this great work.

“Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation."

Moms (or dads), This One Might Be for You.

The kids are back in school. The schedules are full again. There are lunches to pack, homework to manage, practices to get to, and a hundred little things that somehow always seem to fall on Mom.

But what if, just once a week, you gave one hour to yourself?

Our Monday morning 10:45 riding lesson has 5 spots available, and we'd love to fill them with women who need a little time to breathe.

You don't have to be an experienced rider. You don't have to be a horse person. You simply have to be willing to step outside, breathe some fresh air, and spend an hour with a gentle horse who has nowhere else to be.

Our lessons are carefully matched to each rider and their ability, with an emphasis on safety, horsemanship, balance, and learning to communicate with your horse. But there is something else that happens during that hour...

The phone gets put away.

The noise of the day fades.

You breathe.

You move.

You connect with a horse.

And for one hour, you get to do something just for you. (Bet you'll want to stay longer!)

WildeWood Farm welcomes people from all walks of life. You don't have to fit a particular mold to belong here. If you are looking for time outside, a little exercise, a little adventure, or simply a place to de-stress and reconnect with yourself, there is a place for you at our farm.

Monday • 10:45 AM • 1-hour lesson
🐴 5 spots currently available

Maybe this is the year you stop putting yourself last.

Come spend an hour with us.

❤️ Loved From His Heart to Mine? Here’s how you can help!

So many of you have told me how much you’re enjoying From His Heart to Mine: A Story a Day to Bless Your Life. Those messages mean more to me than you know!

If you have a few minutes, would you consider leaving a review on Amazon? Reviews help other readers discover the book—and they help Amazon know that this is a book worth recommending. Without 75 reviews, Amazon won’t recommend it.

Here’s how:

1️⃣ Go to Amazon and find From His Heart to Mine.

2️⃣ Scroll down to “Customer reviews.”

3️⃣ Click “Write a customer review.”

4️⃣ Give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (if you feel it deserves it!) and share a few words about what you enjoyed.

It doesn’t have to be long. Even something as simple as “I love starting my day with these little stories!” is incredibly helpful.

And if you’ve already left a review—thank you! You’ve helped more than you realize.

Thank you for reading, sharing, and allowing these daily stories from His heart to become a blessing in yours.

🐴💕 Little Riders Pony Pals is Coming Back! 💕🐴

Our very popular Pony Pals program for little horse lovers ages 2–4 is just around the corner!

Pony Pals is a gentle, hands-on introduction to the wonderful world of horses. Little ones get to meet, touch, groom, and interact with our ponies while learning about animals, safety, and caring for a horse—all in a fun and age-appropriate setting.

Our current Pony Pals class will be offered Thursday mornings, but we have had enough interest that we are considering adding a second Thursday class at 1:00 PM.

So, if you have a little one between 2 and 4 years old who is horse-crazy, loves animals, or simply needs a little more pony in their life, we'd love to have them join us!

Interested in the Thursday 1:00 PM class? Please reach out to Ms. Hannah at 770-843-2478 and let us know. If we have enough little Pony Pals, we'll open the second class!

Sometimes the love of horses starts with something very small...

A little pony, a little hand, and a whole lot of wonder.

Little Rider Pony Pals is Back This Fall!
After two wonderful months of Little Rider Pony Pals this past spring, we're excited to announce three new sessions this fall!
Designed especially for children ages 2–4, this program is a gentle introduction to horses that focuses on confidence, safety, familiarity, and fun.
This is not a riding lesson program.
Instead, it is an opportunity for young children to build comfort around horses while learning through hands-on experiences and age-appropriate activities.

Each one-hour class includes:
Meeting and interacting with a
calm pony/horse
Grooming and hands-on horse care
Leading a pony with assistance
Learning safe and gentle behavior around animals
Short rides or sit-on experiences
Games, activities, and themed adventures
Lots of encouragement and confidence-building
Consistency is important for young children, so each class follows a familiar routine that helps little ones feel secure and successful.

Fall Sessions
🍂 September Session
September 3, 10, 17, 24
🍁 October Session
October 8, 15, 22, 29
🎃 November Session
November 5, 12, 19, December 3
💰 Cost: $280 per 4-week session

One of my favorite things about this program is watching hesitant little ones transform into confident children who proudly brush a pony, lead them a few steps, and discover that these big animals are actually gentle friends.

If you have a horse-loving toddler or preschooler, we'd love to introduce them to the wonderful world of ponies in a kind, safe, and encouraging environment.

Spaces are limited, so feel free to reach out with questions or to reserve a spot.

A Birthday Dream Come True

There once was a little girl who dreamed about horses.

She watched horse movies and imagined beautiful horses galloping across green fields, their manes flowing in the wind and their coats shining in the sunshine. She loved the sound of a horse's whinny and could spend hours talking about them. She read about horses. She watched horses. And when she went to sleep at night, she dreamed about horses.

Then her birthday began to get closer.

Her mother wanted to do something truly special. Something her little girl would never forget.

One evening, she came across something on Facebook about a farm called WildeWood Farm. The pictures were beautiful. The reviews were wonderful—almost too wonderful. Could a place really be that special?

Still, she decided to call.

On the other end of the phone was Ms. Hannah.

They talked about the little girl's birthday, her love of horses, and the possibility of having her party at the farm. They chose a Saturday, but before sending out invitations, Mom decided she needed to see this magical place for herself.

Later that week, she drove down the driveway, through the woods, and over the hill.

And there it was.

Rolling green pastures stretched out before her, dotted with horses of every color and shape. Bays. Chestnuts. Palominos. Grays. Pintos. Horses quietly grazing in the sunshine, swishing their tails and enjoying the beautiful day.

The farm was real.

And it was even more beautiful than she had imagined.

The date was confirmed! Mom went home and busily began inviting friends, choosing decorations, and planning the menu.

Finally, the big day arrived.

It was sunny and breezy—the kind of beautiful day that seems made especially for a birthday party.

The birthday girl pulled into WildeWood Farm and immediately began to squeal with delight.

Everywhere she looked...there were horses!

Big horses. Little horses. Brown horses. Golden horses. Spotted horses. Horses with flowing manes and shining coats.

Her dream had come true.

And the best part?

She wasn't just going to watch them in a movie.

She was going to meet them. Touch them. Ride them.

For one magical afternoon, the little girl who had spent so much time dreaming about horses was finally going to step right into her very own horse story.

And sometimes...

dreams really do come true. 🐴❤️

If you have a little horse lover with a birthday coming up, perhaps it's time to let them step into their own horse story.

WildeWood Farm birthday parties are about more than just a party; they're about making memories they'll be talking about long after the cake is gone. ❤️🐴
