3 SIMPLE TIPS:
1. PRINT A MONTHLY CALENDAR - plan/mark the days you CAN exercise by looking at your schedule. Check off as you exercise to keep motivated and focused. I tape the calendar in the bathroom.
2. SIBKIS (See It Big Keep It Simple) EXPERTS recommend JUST 30 minutes of mild exercise 5 times per week or 30 minutes of intense exercise 3 times per week. Gyms and trainers are great WHEN you have the time and money, but to work out CONSISTENTLY, you need a work out that doesn't require a gym, TV or internet. Jog, power walk, bike, swim, climb stairs, kayak..... get your heart rate to its fat-burning zone. (look up YOUR fat-burning zone)
3. BUILD MUSCULAR STRENGTH w/ BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES to reduce body fat, increase lean body mass, keep bones dense and strong, increase energy, boost your mood, improve sleep, improve stability, balance, and flexibility to reduce injuries & falls. They are EASY, don't require the gym, TV or the internet.
