The Differences Among Us Our club hopes to educate the community about the different disabilities and promote acceptance and Ethnicity, intellectual ability, athleticism and gender.

All these are factors that form divisions within society, forming cliques or groups that represent one of these qualities. However, have all these so called "differences" stopped a soccer player from befriending a piano prodigy? Or an Indian from having an American best friend? This diversity occurs because, in all these cases, the people embrace these differences and look for the similarities between one another. This is what The Differences Among Us inspires society to do. As the founders, we have seen people ignore and avoid those who stand out in the crowd. They are viewed as unworthy of befriending, or even holding a conversation with because of their external behavior or appearance. This misguided judgement does not give people the chance to let their true personality show through and let the others see the error of their ways. Our request to you as a member of society: always give people a chance and keep an open mind. This new outlook will bring you into a world you never knew of and will be sure to leave you changed forever.
