Our season opener is right around the corner. On September 27, we’ll be at the Pavilion at Gervasi Vineyard for SYNERGY: The Art That Moves Us.

We’re sharing the stage with dancers from Ballet Excel Ohio and Cleveland Ballet, presenting a mix of classical and contemporary pieces that highlight the strength and creativity of Northeast Ohio’s dance community.

🩰 Great dancers aren’t rushed. They’re built from a strong foundation.

At Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, we take pride in teaching beginners slowly, carefully and correctly from the very start.

The basics matter. Proper placement, coordination, musicality, strength and technique learned in those early years become the foundation for everything that follows.

For generations, our studio has been known in the dance community for giving young dancers an exceptionally strong technical beginning, and that’s something we’re very proud of. ❤️

At Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, we believe some of the most important teaching happens at the very beginning.

We don’t rush dancers through the basics. We take the time to teach each step slowly, correctly and with purpose, building proper placement, coordination, musicality, strength and technique from day one.

For generations, our studio has been known throughout the dance community for developing beginners with an exceptionally strong technical foundation. We know that when the basics are taught correctly from the start, dancers are prepared to grow with confidence and take on more advanced work safely and successfully.

It’s not about how quickly a dancer progresses. It’s about how well they are taught along the way. ❤️

That strong foundation can make all the difference in where their dancing takes them.

We love taking these first-day photos because this is where their journey begins. It will be so much fun to look back at these pictures at the end of the year and see just how much they’ve grown—in technique, confidence and independence.
