✨ Meet Our Third Panelist: Joan Todd!✨
Joan’s love for horses began as a child and has been a lifelong passion. Growing up around horses, she started with Quarter Horses, Morgans, and hunters before discovering the Saddlebred world — a journey that would shape her future in the show ring.
Over the years, Joan has experienced the true highs and lows of the horse life. From training and showing her own horses as an amateur, to stepping away while raising her family, and eventually finding her way back to competition, horses have remained a constant source of purpose, friendship, and strength.
After retirement and a renewed passion for showing, Joan returned to the ring and has enjoyed a successful amateur career — with hopes of continuing to compete for many years to come.
Join us July 27 for a special conversation with Joan and our other panelists as we celebrate the stories, challenges, and triumphs of riders 50+.

🌟 Meet Our Second Guest Panelist! 🌟 @ Bryon Gifford
We're excited to welcome Bryon Gifford as our second guest panelist for Monday's **Masters Riders (50+) Roundtable!
Bryon's journey began riding friends' horses because owning one wasn't an option. After college, he discovered American Saddlebreds, bought his first young horse, trained him himself, and never looked back.
Over the years, Bryon has enjoyed success with multiple outstanding Saddlebreds, earning championships and top ribbons at Pin Oak, Big D, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Germantown, Houston, Lexington, and Louisville. After a few breaks from the show ring, one thing has always remained the same... the itch to come back and compete!
Today, Bryon continues to enjoy showing and proving that the passion for horses only grows stronger with time.
Join us Monday for a fun, honest conversation with amateur riders who are still chasing goals, blue ribbons, and the joy of the ride.
✨ Our third guest panelist will be introduced tomorrow!

🤔 Question for our Saddle Seat community…
If you could go back and give your younger Saddle Seat self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Would you tell yourself to be more patient? Trust your horse? Stop comparing yourself to others? Take more lessons? Enjoy the journey?
Share your answer in the comments—I can’t wait to read them! 💙
And if you’re still learning (aren’t we all? 😊), join us for Inside the Horseman’s Mind – The Master’s Movement on Zoom, where we’ll learn from experienced horsemen who have been there and done that.
