WP Wrestling Fam,
Your booster is working hard already gearing up for the season that will be here before we know it. I got a couple things coming up that I wanted to get on your radar.
All seniors need to be at media day on Saturday 8/15, we are piggybacking on the football teams media day to get our seniors headshots done so we can get banners made and hung in the gym this year. But we need to get them done early so the district can hang them with the other teams at the same time. Because we are doing it with the football team the time has not been locked in yet, they start at 3 and go till 5, I would assume we should get ours done around 4 or 5 but to make sure we don’t miss out I would be there at 3:30. Coach will hand out singlets in the mat room and pictures will be in the turf room, this is for SENIORS only, we will do the team media day on our scheduled day which is still TBD, we don’t usually take them till right before the season starts.
Also, we have our NFL tickets raffle that is live right now, parents please help us get the word out and sale some tickets for us would be greatly appreciated. If we got everyone to at the very least get 1 ticket sold we could hit our goal of 100 tickets sold for each game. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Last but not least our mums will be going live here real soon so please keep and eye out for them, we have really stocked up on ribbons and trinkets this year so please tell your family’s to purchase mum making material from your favorite booster. This week in Indianapolis, West Region 14U, 16U, and Junior Girls are proudly representing Team Texas at the National Duals, with freestyle competitions commencing on Wednesday at 9 AM and concluding on Thursday, followed by Greco competitions starting on Friday and concluding on Saturday.
