Water Babies Survival Swim

Water Babies is a certified Survival Swim Program in Cypress TX. Teaching private survival swim lessons to infants up to the age of 6 years old.

As a mom to 3 young kids, 2 of which have had "close calls" - it is super important to me to give parents the peace of mind of safely being around water. I have undergone intensive hands-on training and became Survival Swim Development Network certified. I service the Cypress/Towne Lake/Bridgeland area of Houston.

Our season may be winding down… but this is Texas. We all know “summer is almost over” doesn’t mean much when it’s still hot enough to swim well into fall. 😂

Coach David has just 12 spots left for our final session, so if you’ve been meaning to get your child into survival swim, now’s the time.

Because “the season is ending” and “swim weather is ending” are definitely not the same thing around here.

Missing a baseball practice might mean a few more strikeouts.
Missing volleyball practice might mean a serve into the net.

But when lifesaving swim skills aren’t practiced consistently, the stakes are much higher.

Children grow and change constantly—especially during the first three years. Growth affects their balance, buoyancy, strength and coordination. Skills that once felt automatic can become unfamiliar without continued practice.

That’s why maintenance lessons aren’t “extra.” They’re part of the training.

💗 Ages 3 and under: aim for twice a week
💙 Older children: practice at least once a week

We practice sports to improve performance.
We practice survival swimming to keep lifesaving responses strong.

Don’t let graduation become the finish line. Schedule maintenance. Protect their progress. Keep those skills ready. 💦

Every confident swimmer starts somewhere.

Jack has been a Water Baby for three seasons, but his first few weeks weren’t easy. He cried. He didn’t want to do it. Some days were hard… for both him and his parents.

But they kept showing up.

Little by little, the tears turned into trust, and the trust turned into confidence.

Confidence doesn’t show up overnight. It shows up one lesson at a time.

If you’re in those early, hard days, don’t give up. One day you’ll look up and realize your child is doing the very thing that once made them cry.
