What a start in Milwaukee! ✨🏆
Our wonderful student Mary and her instructor Tim are having an incredible time representing Cypress at the Inter-Regional Competition!
The first part of the event was all about Smooth & Ballroom, and their dancing certainly did not go unnoticed. Beautiful performances, strong results, and so many top placements and wins throughout the day! 👏🏻
But competitions are about so much more than placements. Every round brings another opportunity to grow — to become more confident, more polished, more connected, and more comfortable under the lights. And that growth is exactly what we love seeing in Mary. ❤️
We are so proud of the experience she is creating, the progress she continues to make, and the beautiful partnership she and Tim are showing on the floor.
And we’re not finished yet… more divisions coming tomorrow! 🔥

This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jackie to Cypress for a full day of coaching, learning, and inspiration.
There’s something special about stepping outside your usual routine, hearing a fresh perspective, and discovering a new level in your dancing. 💫

✨ What an incredible way to close out the 2026 Fred Astaire World Championships! ✨
The banquet dinner and final evening of professional dancing were the perfect celebration of an unforgettable week filled with passion, dedication, and extraordinary performances.
A huge congratulations to our incredible professionals Tim & Eli and Hector & Magui for representing Fred Astaire Dance Studios Cypress with such grace, excellence, and joy. Your beautiful dancing, captivating performances, and strong finalist placements made us incredibly proud. You truly embodied what it means to dance with both quality and heart.
A very special recognition goes to our amazing students, Rakhi and Charles, who danced their hearts out all week long and finished the event on an unforgettable high.
🏆 Rakhi earned Top Bronze Solo of the Event with her breathtaking performance of Bhasad Macha, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who watched.
🏆 Charles finished among the Top Male Competitors of the entire event, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects his hard work and commitment.
To every student, professional, family member, and supporter who represented and cheered on Team Cypress throughout the week—thank you. Your energy, encouragement, and unwavering support are what make this studio so special.
