Something most parents do not think about before swim season is swimwear color. Bright colors like pink, yellow, orange and green are easy to spot in the water. White, grey, light blue and black are not. In a crowded pool or open water that visibility difference matters more than most people realize. A small detail that is worth keeping in mind before your swimmer jumps in this season. 💙

Worth knowing ⚠️: white and light colored swimwear can become nearly invisible underwater, making it significantly harder to spot a child quickly in an emergency.

Most people picture rockets and launch pads when they think about getting to space. What they do not picture is a pool. That is exactly where the Artemis II crew spent hundreds of hours before they ever left Earth. Moving, floating, learning to trust themselves in a place that felt nothing like home. At FINS, every galaxy in our curriculum exists because that kind of courage starts somewhere. It starts in the water. 🌊🚀

Cypress families know how much time kids spend around the water in the summer, between neighborhood pools in communities like Bridgeland, Towne Lake, and Blackhorse Ranch. That familiarity is wonderful but it’s also worth reminding your kids that the rules apply everywhere, even in pools they know well. 💙
