After much thought and reflection, I have decided to close The PupCakery. I have had an amazing 8 years in business and have met countless people (and pups!) that I hold dear. However, with the passing of Beignet (who I started making treats for after we lost Blitzen..the inspiration for The PupCakery), making treats has been bittersweet. Yes, we still have Abita, and she enjoys treats on occasion, but nothing like Beignet. I also started Mad Platters Texas, my charcuterie business, last year and that has taken off like crazy. It allows me to not do shows and work around my families schedules much better. I thank EVERYONE for their support over the years and encourage you to check out Mad Platters Texas here on Facebook..

It is with a broken heart that I have to announce that our beautiful, sweet girl Beignet passed away this morning. She was diagnosed with liver cancer late yesterday afternoon and took her last breath us loving on her this morning. Beignet was the inspiration for The PupCakery and we are just simply devastated at this time. We had 9 amazing years with her, and are so upset that we were robbed of her so early. We thank you for your prayers and thoughts and ask that you also remember our girl Abita as she is simply lost trying to find her sweet sister💔

Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Beignet! She and our late black lab Blitzen are the reasons we started making treats that became The PupCakery! Her and Abita thoroughly enjoyed her cake!
