Leo and Socs up for on-site lease!

Socrates is a green broke 8yo who loves people and attention. He can walk, trot, canter, ground poles and trail ride. He is more whoa than go and will test a beginner by stopping or turning. He is safe for pony rides and lunge but does try to take advantage of an inactive rider because he’s pretty lazy by nature. We’ve been riding him English but I have thrown a western saddle on him from the trails.
He will need to stay on site for his few lessons and summer camp
Temperament 2/10

Leo is one of our main lesson horses but since we have cut back on lessons, he has lots of spare time! He has carried all types of riders from toddlers to grandparents. Easy going, safe, more whoa than go. He’s capable of walk, trot, canter, small jumps and trail rides. English/western/bareback.

Lease is on-site since he will still be doing a couple lessons a week.

If you’ve been to the farm, you know how smart and social the piggies are and how we can’t get enough of them 🥰

Here are a few fun facts about pigs that make them amazing pets!

🐽 Pigs LOVE belly rubs!! And they love to snuggle up with you under the covers for naps

🐽 They are actually very clean animals! Dexter keeps a tidy stall and never goes to the bathroom close to where he eats and sleeps (easily potty trained)

🐽 they know where home is with their excellent sense of direction (fence is recommended but with enough space, they stay close to home)

🐽 pigs don’t sweat! That’s part of why they like to roll in the mud! They use it to cool down and as a natural sunscreen!

🐽 pigs are smart!! They are more trainable than ANY breed of dog!!

🐽 pigs are talkers! They have over 20 different sounds they use to communicate. They feel many emotions and they have great memory. Pigs flourish with human care and attention.

🐽 you need one!! They’ll love you their whole life, up to 15 years!
