Rekindling Confidence Through Movement > Spring Savings Expire June 1st https://phoenixboxing.ca/products/gift-card

Something I hear from clients all the time:
“I didn’t realize how much I missed feeling athletic.”

When you haven’t been training with purpose for a while, you can forget how good it feels to move with control and precision.

You don’t just notice it in the gym—you notice it when you play with your kids, carry groceries, or navigate a crowded airport without feeling winded.

Confidence isn’t just about how you look—it’s about how you move.

And boxing training, done right, delivers that in spades.

Yep 100% Agree! Not Usyks fault the ref stopped it,
Rico was out on his feet, and would have loved to seen the 12th like everyone else. Rico did better than expected but he still lost and the most respect goes to Usyk who did it once again - legend!

I get people talk in the moment and sensationalism sells. But some of the bollox I’ve seen about Usyk’s performance is off the scale. One person said in my comments that he got “slaughtered.” Utter nonsense!

You have to add context to this. Rico proved us all wrong. He made it far more competitive than most thought. But just because someone does better than expected, doesn’t mean you give him rounds. Every round was competitive. But how many times was Usyk hurt or in trouble? How many clean shots did he actually take?

The reality is, even though it was a tough fight, he was never in trouble. I’m in awe of how he finished Rico. The knockdown was heavy. An uppercut right on the jaw that nearly sent Rico out of the ring. If he would have got up and went to the ref, it would have got called off, as his legs were wobbling. Hence why he did the smart thing and spat his gum shield out.

I’m hearing people say he’s not p4p #1 after this performance. Rubbish. A champion isn’t just about winning fights comfortably. It’s what happens when the chips are down and you’re in trouble of losing a fight. What are you going to do in that moment? Usyk steps up time and time again. Incredible mindset. The bloke is a winner. Always finds a way to win. This should be celebrated!

Usyk is held to such high standards that a close fight gets magnified. He’s an incredible ambassador for boxing. He deserves far more respect. To get Kabayel in the ring when Usyk hadn’t even done his interview was disrespectful. Time and a place. You don’t do that to such a legend. You have some respect!

Why Boxing Is the Perfect Vehicle & Spring Savings expire in 2 days

I’ve worked with enough clients to know—people don’t stick with things that feel like punishment.

That’s why traditional “just do more cardio” or “lift more weights” approaches fizzle out for so many.

Boxing is different. It’s skill-based, engaging, and constantly challenging in new ways.

It’s hard enough to make you feel accomplished, but varied enough to keep you interested.

And in this non-combative version, you get all the benefits—strength, speed, agility, confidence—without ever having to get punched in the face.

That’s a win-win.
