SkyeHelps offers small group yoga sessions

We wanted to take a moment to introduce one of our yoga instructors at SkyeHelps Yoga as we have many new faces here!

Angela teaches a “Mindfulness & Movement" class on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Classes are $15, and if you’re interested ask about the punch card system to get a discount.

Most people ask what type of class our instructors teach. “Mindfulness & Movement” Yoga class utilizes chair, and standing for all levels and can be adapted to your needs. Postures are performed while seated & standing with or without the aid of a chair for balance or for additional stretches. “Mindfulness & Movement"offers exercises for increased flexibility, balance, and strengthening. Cultivate your Innercise and balance your mental and physical well-being.

These Yoga poses are gentle to help ease discomfort and pain. Integrated Positional Therapy (IPT) techniques are incorporated into the class as seen by Lee Albert, Neuromuscular Therapist on PBS, "3 Steps To Pain-Free Living" program recently.

Angela is currently pursuing her Integrated Positional Therapy certification and is mentored by Lee Albert.

Angela was born in St. Simons Island, Georgia. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Recreation Therapy. She enjoys spending time with her family and 2 Aussiedoodle dogs. She enjoys nature, dancing, exercise, music, UGA football, and helping others toward a path of Health & Wellness.
