In a study by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, men and women who participated in a 12-week Hatha yoga course demonstrated 'significant improvements' in muscular strength compared to the control group.

Always take a shower after yoga class, especially if you've just taken an extra sweaty class like Bikram or Ashtanga yoga. Your body releases toxins when you sweat, and if you don't shower after class, those toxins will stay on and eventually be absorbed back into your skin.

You can pause and slow down where you need to, and learn to follow prana where it takes you.
