Meet Brenda Altamira. She finished her 6 week challenge and still crushing it. Here is her story!

This challenge has been such a learning experience! I have gained knowledge and tools that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I chose to do this challenge because I was tired of making excuses and needed someone to push and guide me. I wanted to feel good about myself physically and mentally. Some days I was super motivated and other days I wanted to give in, but the accountability was definitely there because whether I wanted to or not, I had to follow through. I would get impatient with my progress at the beginning but one thing I kept reminding myself was to TRUST THE PROCESS. My clothes are starting to fit looser and even my family is starting to notice and compliment me and it's the best feeling when there's finally noticeable change. Regardless of whether I met my goal, I'm glad I have set the foundation of a new lifestyle that I have the intention of continuing and progressing.😊

Meet Regina Williams, a 6 week challenger and member who has been crushing it! Here is her story!

“I am a repeat challenger - that means I just can’t get enough! LOL. I did this challenge last year at a different location. But I am SO happy with my results this time. I made this challenge so much more fun by eating foods I enjoyed. I learned so much that I actually worked out less than before and ate a more balanced diet this time so I had better results! On top of that, I’m not really dying to have all of those foods I went without for the last 6 weeks.

Ive used these six weeks to grow far beyond my physical body tho. I’ve decreased my resting heart rate substantially. I can now run a mile non-stop on a 7.4+ speed. And I used to feel like I was dying when I first started running lol.

My skin is clearer. I don’t feel as sluggish. And thanks to my accountability coach Katrina T F**t for literally answering every single question I had. I’d literally ask so many nerdy questions and she met me with detailed answers to help me learn more.
Being healthy and getting in shape is never a one-time thing. It’s a lifelong journey.”

”I came in wanting my life back. And I learned so much more than I ever expected.

I’ve always been smaller in figure, but struggled with food. I enjoy all things food, but even more, I LOVE carbs. I love all the breads, cakes, brownies, soft chewy cookies, pies, etc. I also tend to eat in large portions ever since I can remember. My parents are both cooks, and owned their Korean/Chinese restaurant business for 30 years, so naturally I ate well. But as I got older it all caught up to me. My metabolism went down. Through this, I realized I had an eating disorder called binge eating. I struggled with binge eating my whole life! It all made sense now, and it blew my mind.

I am finally at peace with myself, and accept myself for who I am. I knew I lacked dopamine due to my diagnosis, and the only natural way to pick that up is to work out. Kickboxing has been so much fun, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of this 6 week challenge at Fit Theorem. Every team member have been so welcoming, patient and helpful with all my questions (trust me, I can have lots of questions!), and they were very informational. They are here to help you, and become the best you!

Through this challenge, I’ve learned how to choose the right foods for my body, I’ve experienced a discipline I’ve never experienced before, I’ve met so many amazing women, so strong and motivated to reach their own personal goals. I’m proud to have been a part of this community! You can do whatever you have your mind set on, thanks to the help from Fit Theorem’s method of coaching infused with kickboxing, it truely is a new way of “gyming”!

Lastly, I want to shoutout to my accountability coach, Katrina. You have been so amazing at keeping me in check. I’ve said this a few times already, but man. This beautiful woman made sure I was sticking to my diet, she had me send her photos of my meals AND wanted to know how much coconut oil I used in my already super skinny stirred fried rice! 😳😦🤣. But, without your dedication and help, I really couldn’t have made it this far. I ended up losing 6.5% body fat! 🤩🙌🏻 So thank you, Kat!! You’re one tough sugar cookie!”

“I had been seeing the ads for FitTheorem for awhile, but I was always unsure about going. But thanks to my roommate (shoutout to Roxane 😄) we both signed up for the six week challenge! I learned so much about prioritizing my health in terms of what I’m eating and how strong I can be. I appreciate and loved all the encouragement and daily “how’s your challenge going” every time walking into class. Thank you for all the support, and teaching me that I need to eat more protein and drink more water than I thought 😂”

“When I started this challenge my daily diet consisted of soda, candy, chips and fast food. I didn't exercise I was not loving my work life because I was so frustrated and stressed. I also hated my body unless it was baggy clothes.

So I change my eating habits and started meal prepping, went to kick box for 45 min 3 times a week and I loved it!

It's so nice to get to work and not have to order lunch or scrap up change to eat out of the vending machine! In 6 weeks I save 538$ on eating my meals I prepared.

My stress levels decreased because I take it all out on the bag. I started like my job again and not being so mad at my child for the little things because I separated my work frustration from home. This challenge really has made a huge impact on my life.

I love the my arms are a little smaller. My tummy doesn't sit on my lap. I don't have back rolls that eat my bra. I love that I'm less stressed. I love that I saved money. I love that my double chin is smaller ( 😂not gone yet). I LOVE All THE ENERGY.

I never really understood how the things I eat and drink affected me so much and now I do! Huge shout out to my coach Katrina and my support team.

I cannot wait to see where I will be a year from now if this is just 6 weeks. I don't have scale goals but I do have strength goals!”

“I decided to join the 6 week challenge to be an accountability partner to my best friend, Shiley. Little did I know, I would create a goal for myself: build muscle. At first it was hard because I’ve never been on a meal plan. However, with the help of Lali and Shiley, I was able to find a good balanced diet with a focus on my protein to increase my muscle mass. The kickboxing class was another challenge; My first week I was sore almost everyday because I was working out different muscles I didn’t usually workout. But it was a fun and fast paced workout that had me coming back because I loved the results. I was losing some fat and gaining more muscle! I loved being motivated by the instructors and feeling my body work hard. Of course, Shiley was also my accountability partner in making sure I came to class on time! Overall, my experience was great!”
