ATTENTION BOBCAT NATION:

Some of you may have seen the recent conference turmoil. Several of the local leagues are struggling with loss of teams this season, and several new ones are trying to get off the ground, while the conference we belonged to has folded. The Bobcats have been watching it all with interest, trying to decide what to do for the 2025 season.

While we have been invited to explore several opportunities, we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to sit the 2025 season out. We have been a part of this community for nearly 20 years, so this decision did not come easily to us. We have talked it through repeatedly, but do not feel we can properly support the kids on the field this year.

Of last year’s board, which was not at capacity, every single seat is up for grabs, and none of us has the time to commit to remain full time with the organization. We didn’t have enough volunteers to sit on the board to make up for the losses. We simply can’t overlook the fact that we do not have the support system in place to yield a successful season.

We would like to thank the many wonderful families who have come through our organization over the last two decades. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the remaining board members, some of whom stepped in to ensure we could make it through the 2024 season and to try to stave off this unfortunate end of an era. Their unwavering dedication to our organization and your children is unparalleled.

We’d like to wish everyone the best of luck in their future endeavors and remember: Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat.

Please allow us some time to process refunds for those of you that signed up last season, and wrap things up. If you have any interest in reviving the organization in 2026, which would be our 20th anniversary, please reach out to a board member for some guidance.
