Yoga Freedom with Laurie
Teaching asana for 20+ years to cultivate mobility, strength, awareness, and acceptance of self. Laurie began her Yoga journey over 20 years ago.
She completed her 200 hour teacher training in Anchorage, Alaska and taught from New Zealand to Hawaii before making Oregon her home. She teaches from an ecclectic background ranging in experience from Iyengar to Ashtanga. Her goal is to make the practice accessible for all bodies and to offer a path to better health and stress-management through movement and awareness of the subtleties of life.

The first day off of daylight savings time is an excellent one to do a restorative practice! Come join us at the studio from 6-7:30 tonight- relax in class then float home to a great night's sleep.
Who doesn’t suffer from a stiff upper back sometimes? With a blanket or towel rolled firmly and placed across the shoulder blades, you can breathe into those hard to reach places. Give it a try for a couple minutes or more!

This Ram Dass quote resonated with me. One thing I value about mindful practices like Yoga and meditation is that you slow down and notice. You notice your patterns of self-dialogue and the areas where you could extend some grace. Changing thoughts, actions, or just perceptions start with noticing.

New class coming in April! Gentle/ Chair Yoga
Beginning Sunday, April 2. 6-7p.m.
Whether you are just looking for a mellower practice or have mobility challenges, props and chairs are a great aid to bring Yoga practice to you, wherever you are.
Come learn some ways to move that will support you in healing, self-awareness, and just feeling good!
