Meet The Trainer!
“My goal is to help each person learn to appreciate life as they improve their own.”
Shawn first started off as a member of the U.S. Ski Team, finding lifting to push himself that extra step, since then Shawn is a bodybuilding competitor, has held a world record in powerlifting, and found a love for helping others through training as a result. Participating as a training instructor for the U.S. Marine Corps and having been a teacher for kids 4-9, this guy has done it all! Wether you’re wanting to get in a little bit better shape or need the competitive edge Shawn has got you covered!

Bryan is another example of our amazing training staff, working with all walks of people from professional athletes to the "average joe" that comes into the gym. When working with clients a number one goal for most is to lose weight, however more often than not they just dive head first into diets they know nothing about and that are unsustainable. The best trainers will work with their client to slowly adapt a new lifestyle and start pacing the road they need to achieve their new lifestyle! Always give the client something to look forward to! giving the client the chance for small victories will allow you to win them over long term while you work together on achieving the end desire. Bringing in those personalized workouts from before it's never been easier to help the client see the small wins, and then they're hooked! Seeing results is the best way to keep someone engaged in the routine without having them burn out.
When working with clients a great way to separate yourself as a trainer is giving the client a individualized lift made to work on their individual problem. Variety will help solve boredom with the lift and give better results! Ranging from movement based exercise, to isolated lifts or weight lifting, to stretching, there is an importance to each and part of being a great trainer is realizing what your client needs!

As a personal trainer it is always important to focus on injury prevention/management. Correctly warming up and adding movement and stretching into the workout routine can help to hold off those unfortunate circumstances!
Remember staying mobile is the number one goal when it comes to health!
