This week’s spotlight: Jacque!

Rank: 1st Degree Level 3 Black Belt
Training Since: 2023

Jacque joined Tiger Rock in 2023 as a Junior and has grown into a dedicated martial artist and valued leader in our academy. Since 2024, she has been helping with classes and now plays an important role in our Tiger Cubs classes.

Always willing to lend a hand, Jacque brings patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for Taekwondo to everything she does. She has also challenged herself through Bo Staff classes and tournament participation, continuing to expand her skills both on and off the mat.

We’re grateful for the time and energy Jacque gives to our academy and excited to see where her passion for Taekwondo takes her next!

Why does form matter?

Good form is the foundation of every technique.

Before students can move faster or generate more power, they need to learn how to move correctly. That is why our instructors spend time encouraging, coaching, and making small adjustments throughout class.

Proper form helps students build confidence, stay safe, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their martial arts journey.

This week’s spotlight: Aiden!

Training Since: 2025

Since joining Tiger Rock in 2025, Aiden has shown what it means to be a dedicated martial artist. He approaches each class with a great attitude and is always polite and respectful toward his instructors and fellow students.

Aiden’s dedication to his training has helped him make steady progress through the ranks, and he continues to put in the effort needed to improve his skills. He has also taken part in our Bo Staff classes, adding another challenge to his training and expanding his martial arts experience.

We love seeing Aiden’s commitment and the positive attitude he brings to the academy. We’re excited to watch him continue to grow and see what he accomplishes next!

What makes you feel like you belong at Tiger-Rock?

For some students, it is the friendships. For others, it is the encouragement, the support, or the feeling of accomplishment.

No matter the answer, every kid deserves a place where they feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.

That is what community looks like.

Belle has quickly become a wonderful example of dedication and enthusiasm at Tiger Rock. Since beginning her martial arts journey in 2024, she has consistently shown a strong desire to learn, improve, and help those around her.

Whether she's assisting during class or practicing her form everywhere she goes, Belle's commitment to becoming her best is always on display. Her positive attitude and willingness to help make her a great role model for other students.

We are proud of everything Belle has accomplished so far and can't wait to see what she achieves as she continues working toward her Black Belt!
