Lubbock Texans Family,

We owe all of you a sincere and heartfelt apology for what took place yesterday involving members of our 11U coaching staff and another team’s coaches.

What happened does not represent who we are, what we teach, or the standard we hold ourselves to as an organization.

We are especially disappointed because our players look to us as leaders, and yesterday, we did not set the example they deserve.

To our parents and families — we are sorry for putting you in a position to witness that.

To our players — we are sorry for not showing you the composure, respect, and sportsmanship that we expect from you every day.

To our supporters — we are sorry for letting you down.

Please know that the safety of our athletes is, and always will be, our top priority. We take this situation very seriously and are addressing it with the attention and accountability it deserves to ensure it does not happen again.

We are grateful for those of you who have continued to stand by us and support our program through this. Your trust means everything, and we are committed to earning it back through our actions moving forward.

We also want to address the rumors — our organization has NOT been suspended from FYFL.

Thank you for holding us accountable and for continuing to support our kids.
