How about these Georgia Misfits Sipsy girls! 4-0 UNDEFEATED ALL DAY. Had a few set backs due to us missing a few key components due to players being injured, 8th grade formals, & players not feeling well… but these girls conquered every obstacle that came there way yesterday.

They only allowed 5 runs going into bracket play (PHENOMENAL). #1 seed in the GOLD bracket. Went against a great hitting team in the championship game. Down by two in the last inning intentionally walked J.J. Lee to load the bases (coach said if I let her hit I knew we would have lost). & we WALKED it off in Misfit fashion ❤️🥎

Here are some stats on the day:

#99 Cansace Goldin & #11 Kimberly Coggins both had a .778 batting average for the day (OUTSTANDING)

#5 Bentley Gill had 6 hits on the day with a .667 batting average.

#16 Janiya Lee had a .750 slugging percentage on the day scoring 4 runs.

#27 Journee McKinney had 2 RBI’s on the day.

#36 Brystol Leon had a hit in the championship game that allowed me to sub in #3 Daliyah Callahan as the base runner (winning run).

All I can say as a coach is I’m PROUD ❤️ WELL deserved rings this weekend 👏🏻🏆💍

These Georgia Misfit Holland girls have been in a minor slump the past few weekends but this weekend they showed up & showed out ❤️🥎 2-2 on the day everyone had a batting average or an on base percentage yesterday 👏🏻 to say they have come far is an understatement.

Coach Carlie couldn’t quit raving about how well #10 Alexa Balbach & #37 Skye Knight did at the plate yesterday. Here are a few stats on the day:

#28 Julia Litty batting a .800 with a .889 on base percentage for the day (OUTSTANDING)

#20 Blakely Hicks with 4 RBI’s on the day (OUTSTANDING)

#00 Bethany Whittemore with 3 RBI’s on the Day (OUTSTANDING)

#51 Kaylynn Lewis with 3 RBI’s on the day (OUTSTANDING)

Each & EVERY girl contributed yesterday & that is what a team is all about! Congratulations girls you deserve those rings 💍🏆❤️🥎

Georgia Misfits Holland played scrappy the past two weekends. Hasn’t been the outcome they have wanted, but each week these girls grind to be better. This weekend they held the champions & finalist in the Gold bracket to really close games. I’m very proud of how far they have come.

From where we started to where they are now night & day difference. This team handles defeat with dignity & shows up ready to work day in and day out. Thank you to Carlie Holland for putting in the time in effort you do with these girls. I can’t see how these girls do the rest of the season! Time to get to work the victories are coming. ❤️🥎

These girls never seem to amaze me. Might have not been the outcome we wanted in the first bracket game where we had to play our other set of Misfits. But these girls played GREAT ball yesterday. 3 girls hit 💣 yesterday.

Brylee Flanagan hit her first TWO ever over the fence.
Daliyah Callahan hit her first 💣 ever over the fence.
JJ Lee hit her 4th 💣 over the fence.

We limited our error on the day this weekend. Every week we get better & better. I can’t wait to see where they go! 🥎❤️
