I am SO unbelievably proud of this team! ❤️🖤 Despite facing adversity all weekend, Georgia Misfits Sipsy found a way to get it done! This team made program history by starting the season 9-0 for the first time ever, and they fought HARD to keep that undefeated record alive—even going into ITB without their coaches on the field!

🏆 TWO CONSECUTIVE UNDEFEATED WEEKENDS. TWO GOLD BRACKET CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Every single girl contributed to this team’s success. This weekend was about heart, grit, stepping up when it mattered, and refusing to let adversity define us. These girls continue to prove that when they play for one another, there is something special about this group!

💥 #8 Aubrey Hirzel — Hit .778 on the weekend with a .818 OBP and 4 RBIs!

💥 #25 Brayleigh Bell — Hit .667 with a .727 OBP and 9 RBIs! She came up BIG when we needed her!

💥 #16 Ja’Niya Lee — Recorded 6 RBIs on the day while battling an injury! That’s heart and toughness!

💥 #36 Brystol Leon — Hit .500 on the weekend with an outstanding .750 OBP!

💥 #11 Kimberly Coggins — Delivered the GAME-WINNING DOUBLE, driving in two runs while playing through an injury! Clutch when it mattered most!

💥 #22 Whitlea Newell — Came through with two runs in our walk-off finish during the final pool game, helping put us in the position we needed heading into bracket play!

👏🏻 #8 Aubrey Hirzel — That toe-tap play at shortstop was something special!

👏🏻 #3 Daliyah Callahan — Came up with an outstanding catch in left-center!

👏🏻 #44 Ava Daniel — Made the sliding-knee catch in foul territory to help secure the win in ITB!

👏🏻 #99 Cansauce — Stepped up behind the plate and made a HUGE impact, including picking a runner off at third!

🥎 Ella O’Neal in the circle — Thank you for coming out and helping your friends this weekend! You stepped up in a big way with 7 strikeouts and 11 runners left on base! We appreciate you being there for this team more than you know! ❤️👏🏻

Girls battling through injuries. Teammates stepping into new roles. Players making big plays when their team needs them most. Every girl contributing. A group that refuses to quit, no matter what is thrown their way.

As a coach, these are the weekends that remind you why you do this. I couldn’t be more proud of how these girls fought for each other, trusted one another, and found a way to come out on top. The championships are exciting, but watching this team grow together and build something special means even more.

We still have work to do, and we will continue pushing to get better every single weekend. But one thing is certain: THIS TEAM IS JUST GETTING STARTED! 🔥

What a way to kick off the season! 🔥

Georgia Misfits Sipsy went a PERFECT 4-0 on the day and battled their way to a Gold Bracket Championship!

This team showed fight, heart, and determination from the first pitch to the last. We found ourselves down in a couple of games, but instead of backing down, these girls fought their way back, trusted each other, and finished the job.

And the best part? EVERY GIRL CONTRIBUTED. 💪🏼

Every at-bat. Every inning. Every defensive play. Every little moment mattered. This wasn’t just one or two girls stepping up — it was a TEAM effort from top to bottom.

Congratulations to Misfits very own #16 Ja’Niya Lee for getting Defensive player of the game in last nights varsity game as a freshman! We are so unbelievably proud of you! Keep up the good work kid 👏🏻❤️

Our Precision Pipe & Fabrication Defensive Player of the Game is East Paulding’s Ja’Niya (JJ) Lee.

JJ had an exceptional game @ 3rd, 6 chances, 6 put outs, a diving stop and she added a double at the plate.
