RECIPEā¬ļø
1. Place 2-3lbs of meaty bones in a pot (I do beef oxtail, beef knuckle bones, and beef neck bones. Preferably pasture raised, grass finished, no-antibiotics ever, I recommend )
2. Fill the pot with filtered water so that bones are partly sticking out over the top, about 3/4 covering
3. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 2-4 hours, optionally add in garlic and onion or fresh herbs for the last hour of cooking
4. Once cooked, removed the bones, and strain through a fine strainer into a large bowl/container
5. Let cool and then divide portions into glass jars.
Good in the fridge up to 5 days, and freezer up to 3 months!
The more gelatinous it becomes when cold, the better!!

I talk about this all the time, but I truly cannot stress daily walking, 2500-4000 calories a day, pelvic floor restoration workouts, and water enough for recovering post partum!!!

Contrary to popular belief, real sugar is not bad for you, full fat foods are good for you and your hormones, ālow calorieā foods have been stripped of their nutrients and you should not be eating them.

Iām currently eating in a slight calorie deficit, consuming extra protein for breast feeding (175g daily instead of my typical 155g), and focusing on eating 99% whole foods!!

Her anxiety medication caused her to gain 30 pounds, so when she started with me her goal was to get her weight back to at least 187lbs (where she was pre meds), and boy did she do that and then some!!!
This client has had lots of ups and downs this year, but she has continued to get back up on the horse and keep prioritizing her health and her goals.
