We do a drill I call “Ava’s Drill” DRY. Dry means done with no ball! Use this for fielding position reps, but it must be done with awareness of where your weight, hands, and posture get to every single rep.

As of right now the OSU game is still on for tomorrow. We will meet to caravan down. (See email for details). Girls are in this year’s black jerseys!

If anyone needs a ride please reach out and we will make it happen.

5:30-7:30 practice. Bring cleats and sleeves. We will most likely be on the field all practice, but be prepared to move into the cage.

Parents: I came across these while looking for sliding shorts.

As our girls enter into the TWEEN-season of their lives, I have been searching for anything to make softball (and regular) lives easier. I think these may help eliminate a bit of worry when on the ball field.

Regardless if you choose this type or brand, I would recommend that all girls get, and regularly wear some type of Sliding (with pad) or Compression (no pad) shorts to all practices and games. The white pants can be awfully see-through and they need to be ready to slide at anytime.

Our schedule for Spring Break will be:
Sunday: pitchers/catchers 8:00-9:00(ish), 9:00-10:30 Batting practice off the machine
We will be in the cage for everything on Sunday.

Wednesday: Regular practice. 5:30-7:30ish. We will be either in the cage or on the field depending on weather and conditions. We do not have access to the gym during spring break.

If you’re out of town for break- no problem, just let me know so we can plan practices.

Don’t forget your cleats and sleeves. And your gym shoes in case. See you tonight.
