We are looking to fill a full time position on the maintenence crew. This position can range from digging up irrigation lines to mowing grass. This time of year we start early and are usually off by 2pm. Pay will depend on experience. We can also train if this line of work is new to you. It is important to have some golf knowledge. This 18-hole, two-person scramble is open to all public golfers — no membership or handicap required. The field is open to men, women, and mixed teams, making it a great event for friends, couples, and partners of all skill levels.

Entry Fee: $80 per player

Your entry includes:
• Green fees

• Hole prizes
• Gross & net prizes

The Brockway Memorial Open is held in honor of Marius “Brock” Brockway, who passed away in 2013. A portion of all entry fees and pay ball proceeds will be donated to an organization supporting cancer research and patient care.

Part-Time (18-30 hours per week)

Assist customers with merchandise selection and inquiries.

Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus.

This is what it looks like when you get 3.67" of rain in one day. The course will be back open tomorrow. It will be mostly drained off, but it is going to be wet.

3.40 inches by 8pm and still coming down hard. The course is under water. We are going to remain closed through Friday the 19th. We will be answering the phone. Sorry again for any inconvenience.

The course took a pretty good beating from the storm. We lost several trees and limbs. There's lots of standing water and going to get worse tomorrow. We have made the decision to close the course Thursday the 18th due to weather forecast. We will make a decision sometime Thursday about opening on Friday. Please call before coming out. 27th ANNUAL TURKEY SHOOT TOURNAMENT
November 9, 2025

Cross Creek Golf Course wishes to announce that applications are being accepted for the Twenty Seventh Annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament on Sunday, November 9th.  The format is a 2-person scramble, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. All players will compete for net, gross and hole prizes.  Entry fees are $80 per player and one can of food (cans may be turned in at registration on the day of the tournament).  The entry includes green fees, snacks, prize money and the chance to win a turkey.  Applications are limited to the first 120 players to pay fees.  Players may sign up as a team or as individuals and be placed on a team.  As we have done in the past, all food and a portion of the proceeds will go to provide Thanksgiving dinners for needy families in Polk County through the Dallas Food Bank and a portion of the funds raised will go to St. Jude’s.   The deadline for sign up is Friday, October 31.  For further information and/or an application visit or call the pro-shop at 503-623-6666.  Information is also available on the Cross Creek page as well as the Cross Creek web site  - http://www.crosscreekgc.com.
