Flashback Friday with a 2017 class with Erin, pre studio expansion. Look at this hug-a-tree in tower! Drop those shoulder blades into the mat as the hips lift and use the bottom of the feet.

Pilates for ALL Bodies! This has many examples of successful planks for each person. Every body will have different needs and limitations. So yes… all of these planks are good planks for these specific people! Thanks for coming to my TED Talk 😘
Sometimes the client needs a gentle load to understand the movement. We’re talking to the scapula here. Push into my hand for protraction force, which can then lead to rotational forces in the trunk! Start to teach that idea in other exercises, like SAW. Find this idea and much more on my ✨NEW✨ Pilates App: Pilates for All Bodies.

Bridging with alternate arm reaches can certainly help the same side glute, too! You’ve got to try it.
