Vanessa Lanfrank
Class of 2005
I graduated from College Misericordia in 2005 with a Master of Physical Therapy, and then I was in one of the early classes for the transitional doctorate program, graduating from Misericordia University in 2008.
Since then, I practiced in various settings. With over 20 years of experience, I have recently launched my own business. I brought a franchise to the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area called Trua Senior Living Locators. This service is free to seniors and their families; it guides them through finding the right assisted living or memory care site the first time. We use a 1:1 assessment with a clinical and personalized approach. We join them on their community tours. We find the right fit not just financially, but also physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I reside in Dallas, PA, with my husband Matthew, who also graduated from Misericordia, and our 3 boys ages 13, 11, and 10. Besides my business, I volunteer with the Dallas School District PTO, serve as a team lead on the Safety Awareness team at Montage Mountain during the snow season, and this upcoming school year I will also teach CCD for St. Therese in Shavertown.
